New to me DOU 44 bought from a forum member, beautiful rifle that is all matching, when we took it apart and went through all the parts we found that the firing pin was marked 00 and had an imperial mark on it checked the kreigsmodell book and it says Brun was basically using anything they could scavenge so it’s correct to the rifle. Anyway just thought I’d share a nice example.

Beautiful! Love the trademark Brunn II dark bluing. The tiny firing proof on the bolt ball is really cool. Very nice pickup. These occupied Czechoslovakian manufactured rifles are generally really excellent rifles in terms of fit, finish, accuracy and quality. Congrats on your newest addition!

Congrats on a stunning dou 44, really like the use of the Imperial firing pin on this one. And the stock on this one is really nice too.

Here is not any Brunn, its a Povazska Bystrica Slovakia production piece as second plant of Waffenwerke Brunn concern, Brunn could be not declared by dou marked samples as the town where it was produced. Brunn doesnt mean automatically ZB, it was and is the largest town of Moravia.
