Hello everyone,

I recently found a FN K1 .22lr rifle manufactured in 1943.
I didn't find documentation regarding quantities, etc. for it.
Perhaps s.o. could help me here?

Thanks.

not sure what you have there ???? Those proof marks weren't typically used on .22 kal rifles test proofed in Germany.

Take that god awful scope off there and see what the receiver says... I think its a fantasy piece.

Thank you for your reply.
As I do not own it so far, I am not able to take the scope off. But I will.😉
Here are some more photos.

I also saw it when it was for sale on eGun, and I asked mauser22 on this rifle. He told me that he believes it is a complete fake, scrubbed receiver and added markings. You've had quite a lot of money into it, looking at where the auction ended: http://www.egun.de/market/item.php?id=6427504 . If it is possible, I personally would send it back.

Edit: imperial eagle over 280 on a 1943 rifle ... I mean how stupid can a faker be? It's like placing a Tesla logo on a 1930 Mercedes and claiming that it was original.

This seems to be a growing trend.... Asking after we buy NOT Before !!!!!!!!!! We all make mistakes and learning from them is VERY important.

Learning from others is even more important ! And we all learned from you today..

Wow, an old Mercedes with a Tesla logo?! Where can I buy it? 😜

No, I got the point and thanks for all of your answers. I am glad, that I found this forum.

Taking this information into account, I will not buy the rifle (I have 14 days to withdraw my bid).
