G 43 AC 44 K block

Another G 43 from my collection. The rifle remained in our country after the capitulation of the German army in 1945. Kept for many years, registered in the arms amnesty. It is in original condition, the numbers match. The original mount and rifle scope have not been preserved. Added a Czech army mount from 1947 and a loot German dow scope from Optitechny Prerau GmbH. The original spare parts in waxed paper remained in the stock.

Wonderful example. Note that I've had a couple of the post-war Czech mounts myself and they fit very well--far better than any repro mount.

Very well preserved rifle! I like how it is complete with the spare parts and an oiler in wax paper.

in 2019 I have this one listed in my G/K.43 serial number listings. Back then it was not clear whether this rifle was marked “G.43”, so I didn’t have that information. Now I do! Thanks.

I was under the impression the date sequence was year, week of the year and day of the week. I had assumed the '9' was intended to be a '6' however two stocks with a '9' suggests it was intended to be a '9'. Am I misunderstood as to reading the date? Obviously there's no ninth day of the week.

Wanted to confirm, is yours “G.43 ac44 #511k”? All of them in my serial number listings at this point around yours are “G.43”. Thanks in advance.
