Super nice matching Yugoslavian M1924 bayonet as modified by the Nazis. The muzzle ring has been cut off, the crossguard was reshaped obliterating the first digit of the serial number, and the entire assembly was then blued. The original throat screw was located above the frog stud, but the Germans plugged the hole and then drilled and tapped the scabbard for a German-style throat screw on the side. I've been told this a seldom seen modification. Perhaps to facilitate use in a 98k frog?
