Something is wrong with it, the rear part is not correctly indexed.

Just turn it 180 degress and it is "correctly indexed".

When i bought mine 20 years ago the rear part was also "not indexed"- 180 degress to the right mismatched.

Well, actually a bit less than 180 degrees for a correct index, but knowing the seller is Albrecht Wacker I am really surprised someone like he wouldn't bother to fix this if it was that easy?

Also from looking at it the ocular piece looks wrong. It appears to be rubber, it should be leather.

I have seen a few of them in the past 20-25 years, also i had a few for restoration in the shop.
Yes, it is easy to fix the backpart in "index", apart if it is 162, 6 degrees, 180,56 or anything between.

I know Wacker, i know his auctions, there is nothing more to say about him, ore in other way- i dont want to loose an word about him.

But i am still at it- it is one of the best conditions i have seen the last years.

It will be interesting also to see the conditions ot the inside ot this Glasvisier , sometime there are problems with the inner lenses .
