Picked these two guys up today.
The MP40 is already sporting a few enhancements with more to come. For now, its got a better and more authentic muzzle nut as well as a much more realistic sight hood. Both products were purchased directly from MFI (links below). Those were both super easy installs, had perfect fitment and look great. Very pleased with the results when compared to how it looks with the stock components.
In addition I also threw on a improved trigger bar although apparently these latest MP40 versions being imported already have an upgraded trigger bar that has far less slop than earlier versions. Still, I prefer the look of the one offered by J.C. Hagedorn as seen below.
I also a set of all new replacement slotted screws that I still need to blue and then those will be going on as well. Working on finding a decent sling to slap on it and then I will give some thought on if I will SBR it or not. Folding stocks are a bit hard to come buy at the moment unless I want to take a chance on a airsoft version from Hong Kong or something.

Trigger Bar is custom made by J.C. Hagedorn, he doesn't have a website yet but he said I could share his contact details. He's currently working on some other really cool MP40 parts in addition to his take down pins, trigger bar and blank firing adaptors: route66redlines@gmail.com His trigger bar is a beauty as you can see.
I found all sorts of other useful info on mods for the MP40 on the GSG MP40 Help Page Facebook group. I got the screws from the admin there; Scott Kibler.
The STG-44 is the latest GSG .22LR version now being imported by Blue Line. As you can see it now has an all black stock but you may notice that it is missing a sling cutout or top storage compartment. I actually emailed Blue Line before I ordered this to ask about this since the picture on their product page shows a different natural wood color stock (same as the one that ATI used to sell) which does have those features. Initially they said the picture was incorrect and that the new all black stocks DID have a slot for the sling and the compartment, but then earlier today (as I was driving to pick up gun from the dealer ironically enough) they emailed back to admit their mistake. After I expressed my disappointment at this mistake their support team really stepped up and offered to send me a replacement natural wood stock and wood grips from the regular version which had the missing features. I was impressed at this level of service because that version of the gun is apparently out of stock everywhere I checked. I'm really excited to get my STG looking a bit more authentic, even if it is just a .22.

Love these replacement parts!
