Help with unit ID from 1906 DWM gewehr 98

Unit marking is from the Danzig dockyard. M on the stock is for the Kaiserliche Marine/Imperial navy. Is this one matching? more photos of the parts will be greatly appreciated by the Imperial guys. This is also a late one for Navy production I believe.

All matches except for the bolt and bottom plate . I will take more photos and post them in a bit.
Thanks

Very nice naval Gew. As Marc mentioned it was made for the Imperial German Navy and marked to the Danzig Dockyard. DWM appears to have made naval rifles from 1899 to 1903 and then again in 1906. (There may be other dates but those are what comes to mind.) Aside from the unit mark, you can tell it was naval issue from the crown fireproof on the receiver and the crown over M on the stock. It’s nice that yours has a naval bolt with it, many do not.

Yep as others have stated 100% completely original naval gewehr. Even though your bolt does not match. Luckily it is still a Naval proof bolt. My bolt does not match on my 1906 DWM either. My 1906 KM also has a Naval proof bolt, and I did check if it was your matching bolt! It came close though. Even though my rifle was made a little bit later than yours. Both were unit marked to the dock yard in Danzig. And weapon number wise were really close only three numbers apart. You have 709, and I have 706! Again thank you for sharing.

Very nice score! Where did you manage to find this one? Not many Naval contract Gewehr 98s out there these days.
