Has anyone seen that thread on G.B.?
Guy 1 picks up stock to restore a doinked 42byf, thinks it might have a sniper buttplate.
Guy 2 posts HT he bought in a sporter stock. Rifle is numbers matching to guy 1's stock.

Some genius sporterized an untouched matching high turret at some point. I see wrench marks in the barrel too so it could have been a travesty....
