K43, AC45

Thought I would bring my AC45 dated K43 out for some air. Rifle is all matching numbers, excellent Blue/Phosphate metal finish with a gorgeous unsanded stock I’ve had this rifle for over twenty years, though I would share it. Please let me know what you think.

interesting that is has both a bolt hold open and the late-style bolt with the takedown cutouts. is it single or dual guide lug?

Good one! Rare too. I have a couple of these and they weren’t easy to locate. The blued ones are much prettier than the painted ones in my opinion.

Nice furniture! they recalled it k43 because the weapon was very short for a gewehr(rifle) so they called it karabiner ( carbine
