Looking carefully at my new KKW, I am having trouble discerning the bolt's bearing surfaces! This is for lubrication, for that buttery smooth action this is capable of. This rifle gets cleaned after each range trip so grunge getting caught up in the lube is a minor factor.
I have red sharpied some of the obvious places such as the bolt retainer/release peg, and find no wear off there. Does the little ejector nubbin bear the bolt body? It doesn't seem to ride on the stainless cartridge tray, and the bolt side of the sear doesn't seem to bear either.
Could it be the bolt just bears generally on the receiver cylinder, and the ejector nub and groove prevent rotation of the bolt body?
