Interesting. The X on the left of the receiver ring suggests it was captured by the Russians. I can see that it was firing proofed in West Germany, but the manner in which the Nazi firing proofs were defaced and the renumbering of parts such as the bolt and the floor plate is more similar to what I would expect from a rifle rebuilt postwar by the DDR.. I copied your photos and manipulated them to make them easier to view.
