Looking for info

Can anyone provide some info on this rifle? All the serial numbers match. My grandfather flew in a bomber plane in WW2 and I got this from him recently but he has dementia so I haven't been able to get any story of where he came across it other than assumption.

Its a desirable Mauser Banner of 1934.These have a high polish commercial finish.The front band is not fitting correctly.
Does the RHS of the wood have a DR number.

Looks like a high series Banner (non-cartouched) with the original sling.
At least from the pics.

Any markings on the left side of the buttstock?
Also post a pic of the bolt serial number if you can.
