Mp40/mp44/mg 34/42

Hello all

Just wondering if anyone can recommend any reference books for the MP40, MP44 and both the MG 34 and 42? Something similar to the Karabiner 98 series of books that I have come to enjoy!! A book that would go over all the manufacturers and different models,etc.

RE Book needs

The Collector Grade volumes are quite good. The titles you need are: "The Schmeisser Myth" (MP40) "MG34-MG42 The Universal Machine Gun" (MG34-42) "Sturmgewehr" (Mkb42 and up) (currently out of print)
I'd shop at IDSA Books, Amazon & Collector Grade. Best of luck on Sturm... Any more in depth questions on these, PM me

Spot on with getting started. Most of these are in print however as bossman pointed out, Sturmgewehr and Hitler's Garands are out of print so patience is recommended, unless you want to spend 400$
There is a 2nd volume of Folke's MG34/42 book, good reference.
 
I noticed that Strumgewehr was like 300-400 and wondered why. Well I see now if it's out of print.
