f block , paid $400 for the rifle in a local hole in the wall shop , then $100 for the ZF4 at a show shortly after decades ago , mount is the old school after market as is the cover and shade , handguard unmarked laminated , bolt parts are all numbered to the rifle i just dont want to tear it apart for pics , had them but they died when a computer crashed ,long before there was such a thing called a cloud , stock has never been sanded , nice cartouches as well as a very deep recoil lug , perfect bore , i mean a mirror, do not shoot anymore just pull it out once a year to clean the old off and re oil and then back in the safe , really miss the shooter i had , regret selling it to this day but just dont want to chance breaking something on this guy

keeps telling me half my pics are too large for server to process , they were all taken with the same pic on the same settings , i will try in a seperate post

 A very nice honest rifle that saw some period use. No need to tear it down either. Honest un-messed-with rifles like that are very hard to find, especially in 1944 production.
Congratulations!

I have an ES340B myself. I collect G/K43s, late war K98ks, and pre-war German .22s among a few other items. The .22s though are my absolute favorite shooters.

That's a very nice, honest rifle, I can see why it'd be the pride of your collection. I'd love to find a G/K43 like that locally but I've only ever seen mixmasters and sanded or Bubba'd examples.

thank you very much , i always wanted to get a original mount , but they are so few up for sale and when they do they are a kings ransom , i will find one at one of my spots where i can layaway it

Wow, very nice G.43.

First report of this rifle. The rifle just before this one that was reported is G.43 duv44 #5392f.

Now days, anything G.43/K.43 is a “king’s ransom” in price. That rifle alone is worth several thousand dollars now. It’s crazy.
WOW!!! 4 rifles apart thats amazing not only they both survived but both made it to the states and both made it to the forum , mine "is not" import marked , was the other rifle?

No, it was a known collector’s rifle who is now deceased. It was a mismatched shooter grade and was probably sold off long ago. I got it from the collector’s web site that he had as I don’t believe it ever made it to this web site.

“what is this mark”

Some unknown type of in-house inspection mark. There’s these little marks like that on many Axis guns.
