New to forum. Inherited this GEW98 recently. Been reading through as many posts as I can to educate myself, and seems like I am chasing my tail as there is so much information. I inherited a 1916 Danzig GEW98 with almost all matching numbers…..the only exception is the bolt. Is this the “norm”? Also, can someone please tell me what these specific markings/acceptance marks mean? Thanks in advance!
