No "Mod 98" stamp on reciver

Dear Gents I just bought this deactivated 98k mauser. Its not in the best shape, but I like to bring it back to its former glory. What is the correct set up for this rifle. ( like: what barrel bands I need or what front barrel band is correct, what rifle stock is correct ect ) Also why is no Mod 98 stamp on reciver.
I would be thankful to you if you could provide me additional information of this mauser. The reciver and the barrel serial number is the same.

337 1940

This is one out of an old collection, from Tennesse. It is very close in condition to the very rare matching 1939 337 that I posted a few months ago. Plenty of sub-contracted parts. Enjoy, Alister PS More photos to follow.

I picked this rifle up recently threw some of my connections here. It is not dead mint, but IMHO is a rifle in exceptional condition for a 1940. I will let the photos do the talking. Please let me know if I missed something and I will add it to the photos….. It’s pretty neat all these...
