Does anyone have a photo or an actual WW II German factory gauge set or a FIELD or NO GO Headspaace gauge from a WW II armorer's kit that they can post?
I have never seen one. Can anyone post the factory German CIP K98k specifications for the rifles headspace? Thanks

Is this information posted in any German Armorer's repair manual? If so and you read German, can you please post the information.

72usmc,
I have one or two in the garage, just need to find the box. When I Iocate them I'll snap pics and post them here.
Best,
Pat

Here you go-
No idea if these are Field, Go or No-Go. There is also what I think is a purpose made dummy round, maybe to check extraction/ejection.

These were included in a box that had other tools in it that I’ll post here when I get the time.

Best,
Pat

Thank you. Outstanding specimens. Do you know the German specifications (GO and NO GO) from WW II field tech repair manuals for a k98k?

Unfortunately I do not. I'd imagine someone on the forum has a copy to reference, though.
Good hunting,
Pat
