Polish Radom Ng30 Revolver

Very proud to have added a Polish Radom Ng30 revolver to my collection. The Polish handguns are usually of very high quality, especially the finish of them is more like a commercial firearm than what you usually see with military arms. For what I know these were made based on toolings purchased in Belgium. Around 20.000 Ng30 Revolvers are said to be made, they though appear to be much rarer than the Radom VIS pistols, at least according to the numbers encountered.

This one is made 1932, see the date ahead the cylinder on the left side. All numbers are matching, various inspector stamps can be found on the small parts. The barrel has some minor wear marks towards the muzzle which I assume are from a holster, but nothing serious.

I actually was looking at your revolver yesterday when in search of how a holster should look like. I fully forgot to check for holsters when picking up the gun, though I did look through the bag that contained the holsters from the owner. For whatever reason I did not think of that Revolver .. well, another reason to go back and check for it!

Please allow me the question: is your revolver reblued, or are the stamps on the later ones much lighter struck, since the Ng30 and the manufacturing year on your revolver are much lighter struck than on mine? I've not seen many of those, hence that maybe stupid question. Thanks!

As original as it gets. There are better pictures on my gunboards profile. I could get some better photos when I get home. They are very well done other then the Eagle proof on the cylinder.

Thanks, though not perfect these are much better ones than the ones on gunboards. Yours already has the late D2 acceptance stamp that can also be found on VIS pistols; this means it was approved by Mjr Dzierżyński, at least I've been told he was the D2 stamp.
