Post war MG2 Gurttrommels

I just thought I’d get opinions on value of these? As I go through my “Spares” box, I’m sorting out things I no longer need to hang on to as I start my retirement. These I read were the first post war variant of the WWII Gurttrommel, however I’m guessing that due to labor and cost of producing these in volume….they converted to the most often seen plastic (Disposable ?) version you see used. I was told the Germans started with these as they converted the MG1, and MG2 to .308 NATO…as the new shorter feed trays would not accommodate the WWII version of the 50rd. drum. These are made exceptionally well, and the particular ones shown are exactly as used by Germans in the late 50’s early 60’s, before switching to the plastic version. Spain must have loved this version better, so they had a contract for production of some for a short while too. These were as made for Spain, and therefore marked as such. Cool how they omitted the need for an additional carrier….by designing the ability to interlock several or more together utilizing a threaded male/female connection system. Any info on these…perhaps value etc. would be greatly appreciated.
