Got this at a gunshow recently.

Hi THunter,you could be right,here is another one I have,this one could be late war or even postwar,there are no marks on anything.The spoon has the flat end on it also.

Can't quite tell for sure from your photo, but the second one looks tinned. If so, I believe that would make it a wartime kit and not postwar.

It is painted,I guess it would be called ordnance green?
