Back when the Ukrainian horde was being sold on the old g/k forum I bought one of every type he had - but in all of the ones he sold there were only 2 ros 1945 pouches in there and I bought them both. So I figure they are rare, I’ve never seen another for sale either, so good score. I’m sure there must be a few out there….I’d be keen on seeing any others people have.
Wow. I didn't know they were that rare. I liked them because they were brown. Lol

Me neither, I’ve got an ros 44 pouch that I bought from a member here a while back, just as rare I’m assuming?
On the contrary, ros 1944 is the most common. The single rivet holding the upper together is one giveaway (some ros 1944 have 1 but the majority have 2 rivets).

ROS 1945 dated magazinetaschen are very very hard to come by, ros is the latter october-december code for bla which is Ernst Gustav Leuner in Bautzen. There were two factories located in the same area, the other one was named Johanes Leuner Lederfabrik. In 1946 the factories were expropriated and forced to produce leather goods for the red army, in the sowjetische bezatzungszone. I assume that Leuner was one of the latest to earn a contract on g43/k43 pouches. Note that your pouch has a single rivet on the front flap.
