Got this in 2022 from GB for $1,200 plus typical costs. Probably helped that it was marked in being 30-06 but it's still 8mm along with a 660 1940 (high 80% condition range and matching) and a matching BYF 43 going the same night.
Screw heads appear to be untouched but it is a bolt mismatch. (1883 V? I suck at reading German cursive, all the more reason to get better) Bolt is matching to itself and may be a 1937-1938 or later straight eagle 63 example so if you have rifle 1883V PM me and if anyone has bolt 1003e straight wing eagle 63 please let me know 😣🥹 cause I'd be tickled pink if that bolt is found.

Pics part 2
Rifle is matching aside the bolt and short cleaning rod (eagle 63 marked serial #42) I didn't take the handguard off to check if matching but it's laminate and the band spring is so tight and matches finish wise it's safe imo to presume is matches as well with the screw heads being untouched. When I tear is the rest of the way apart I'll update this post with more pics of what's missing.

Jdt, excellent example and it is great to see you offer to help mating up bolts in an exchange; Bruce was on the right page identifying this range (maker-date-block) for KM, 4 examples and a Norge (KM probably sources these) is known.

**there are also two KM in the d-block of 38 and although a minority of reports seems little to go on with about 20 rifles recorded, one must remember trends are mostly made up of mismatchers or at least bolt or stock mismatchers so when you see an original stock in a certain range known for a variation it is good to ask!

Sweet! Really happy I was able to help with adding another example to the list of known examples if it hadn't been reported yet :)
As for the bolt exchange it just makes sense to do, makes me wonder if I should make a "Christmas miracle post" on facebook for my bolt because I found my first M28/30 again that way when I got a DM 6-7 months later after the post and it had been 4 years since I'd sold it before I got it back.

Some better light outside pics.
