Did a little test shooting with a new Gew-88 I picked up cheap . A nice clean 91 Danzig with the original barrel . It shot well as most 88's do with my normal loads . But I was really impressed with some longer range shooting with the Norma 197.5 grain .321 dia bt sp bullet at 2100 fps . It went 5 for 5 on a 200 yards 6 inch gong and was dead on the sights with 2 for 2 on a 350 yard 6 inch gong . These old rifles are really nice shooters . I just may use it at my ranch on pigs as I have a 375 yard shot from a blind to a feeder the pigs like .
