The person I got this from had it labeled as "Spanish M1893 Short Rifle 7mm". I am thinking it is later- maybe a 1916 Short Rifle. No Receiver mark other than serial number K1621, there is a gas port. The barrel is 21.75", and it is 41" OAL. I am not finding the mark I see in any of the books- looks like an 8 inside a circle. This is on striker housing, safety and rear sight. The mark above serial on trigger guard looks more like a poorly stamped 0 to me. Any help identifying this more accurately would be greatly appreciated.
