What do you say
Have you ever seen DC like this?
For me:
- SN on rear mount-never seen and do not believe it is real
- font on safety should be bigger like on bolt is
- DC BCD4 ? I know that in Senich there is but....?Real
- add Screw on dial ring on scope should be only one big
- strange marks on scope mount
- stamps on receiver ?
- captured paper ?

Double Claw Contraption

I have a big problem with this rifle right out of the shoot.
It has a Mauser Oberndorf bolt as best as I can tell, so I am assuming the
rifle was "built" around the bolt to make it legit.

Factory issued bcd4 receiver with final 749 acceptance should have the original Gustloff
assembled bolt as well.

not to mention if this was a true sszza2 rifle it wouldnt bear any final on the receiver top.. This would follow any other sszza4 or 2 depot built rifle. I can see maybe a spare astrawerke receiver being used but, these were not built by gustloff.. Thanks Bruce for getting the ball rolling on this.. Got my mind working for sure. Once I got myself pulled out of the storm drain it became very clear !!

This link I got from my friend. He has very close rifle and we have big argument about legitimity
I believe to all of you. But in Europe there are many fakes and few experts

there are legit sszza2 double claws built up on bcd astrawerke receivers.. I have seen them. But the proof or lack of need to match..

If I had to bet, close up photos of the capture papers would reveal they are fake as well.

Yep !!

the capture papers are easier to fake than the rifle !!
