Svw stock repair

This rifle came to me with the whole front end chopped off. I had a sanded Kriegsmodell stock handy so sent it off to the guy I know that repairs stocks. He grafted the old front to the rest of this rifle using metal rods. I found bands and an unserialed hand guard. I think it came out nice. I wanted to share some before and after because I think people are amazing that have this talent.

not a bad job much better than before.. Some rifle are worth saving even if the end result isn't 100% . One day a better stock will come along. Typically the day after you sell the rifle...LOL
