All of a sudden I am getting a notification that I dont have sufficient privileges to respond in the Trader section. I have been in good standing for 11 years on the forum. Not quite sure what the issue is???
 
Trader section is currently shut down to everybody until a certain problem can be taken care. Words from Mrfarb. He has a separate thread he recently posted a couple hours ago explaining this.

I have removed the ability to post in the trader section due to recent activity from scammers. Somehow, scammers are hijacking user accounts and posting WTS listings that are fraudulent. I have left up the one from TJG79 to illustrate the issue.

At this point I have shut the trader down to attempt to protect anyone from being scammed by this new threat. The scammer took over 2 accounts and posted wts ads in at least 3 different forums, so it isn’t isolated to our forum. Luckily one of our members who was hacked was online at the time and saw the fake wts ad from his account within minutes. I saw the fake tjg wts and closed the trader as soon as I saw it.
 
One suggestion, could you make a small badge or icon for the accounts that have 2FA active? Might #1 encourage 2FA adoption, and #2 give confidence that the WTB/WTS posts are from the real account holder.
