Training grenade or repop paperweight?

This was included among some items I snagged.
It has some heft, doesn't look bad, but I am guess repop.
No WaA and the "DOV" code is all caps.

Curious what you all think.​

Looks convincing BiO, but I know these have been knocked off. The paint and wood look right. The markings look odd. Have you googled it ?

Looks more like a kids toy than a training device, IMO. The standard grenades with the drilled and red-painted heads are more convincing.

Thx guys... interesting examples.... I have seen Bill G's example with the red/drilled head etc that is clearly orig. I'll also check out the stuff 'dov' made.
