All numbers match. Marked to the 18th Dragoon Regt 3rd Squadron on both the barrel band and butt. The stock is original to the rifle but unfortunately has been sanded and refinished. The cartouches are visible but faint.

Very cool, shame the stock was sanded but really nice gun with cool maker.

Oddly enough I have a 1915 Kar 98 also regiment marked to the 18th Dragoons...

If there isn't a regimental mark on the nosecap or siderail and the barrel band is missing-- nope, no way to tell. It's not like SRS and they can pull SNs and identify where it may have been issued.

If there is a unit marking anywhere, share pics and we can help you identify it.
