VCS 1892 Kar88

Gambled on this one from an online auction and it paid off. All matching down to the screws and unit marked twice. The cancelled unit marking is a Bavarian field hospital train unit I believe and the intact one is a Bavarian light cav unit. This one has been used but not abused, there are areas of the wood finish where it almost appears green under bright light, I assume from handling and sweat. I just need an Erfurt to have all four makers of the K88 (Counting the Amberg refurbished K88s with new receivers)

Very nice. I have the worst luck with k88’s… all of mine are matching in great condition save for ground down sight protectors.

Very nice! Sometimes the gambles really pay off..... course the rest of the time they end in tears....

Love the stock markings, that is hard to find on a lot of Kar88's.
