what is a fair price for a 1938 R. Herder bayonet and scabbard in good condition

Not familiar with bayonet prices. minor chipping on the handle and scabbard is ww2 german, but in black paint

Tough to say without pictures.
It sounds like it is in good but not excellent condition.

I would say 150 if matching
$75 if not

For a nice frog it is additional $50
 
wiout pictures hard to say, blueing should be there no painting, and no sharpening of blade, same as matching would be better as nonmatch.the prices are on Ebay for comparation. b.r.Andy
