I started 5 or 6 years ago with k98k. Loved them and still do. Didn't even know there were other German rifles i could own. Then saw a k43, and the price, and dismissed it as too much money for me. Well after a bunch of k98k, I got a k43, then a g43, then a g33/40, now a G41. You all know how this goes. haha.

Ive gotta thank the guys that helped get this to me. Not sure if they want their names posted or not but they know I'm thankful. Ill get one of them drunk in a couple months. haha

G41 duv43 c block. Last block as far as I can tell to have the scope rails. All matching, unsanded. Has been fired a decent amount but bluing remains strong. e/214 on most parts. Serials on stock, receiver, bolt housing, bolt carrier, bolt, locking flaps, firing pin carrier, mag, triggerguard, front gas tube/sight, and muzzle cone. And extractor!

Nice piece Andrew. I'm glad you finally got it. I'd like to find a nice duv G41 like this.

It is interesting to see the parts that have the hardening/pressure testing dents. It looks like the rear sight slider also has them?
 
Yes, im glad its here. Almost 2 months exact in transit. I paid extra for shipping to make xmas. hahahah

Just a nice un-touched G41. Used but not abused and has the look that cant be replicated. Glad to see you were able to add one to your collection.

And yes we all know how it goes..... We just cant help ourselves... Something all true collectors have in common.

I was also going to comment on the hardness test dimples but Matt beat me to it. Some interesting features on this one.
 
Good to see that it arrived in time for Christmas. Nice to finally see the photos after telling me all about it for these past few weeks.
Another fantastic piece and one of the few here in Canada :thumbsup:
 
This answers the question on if you posted pictures of the G41 on your bayonet post. Nice looking rifle.
 
Pretty damn happy with myself. Found the extractor EP'd with last two digits of serial. LOL

Any other serials I maybe missed?

Any chance the barrel is serial numbered? I don't know if duv did this but this is what is looks like on Walther.
