I assume most of the old WWII rifles have some kind of issues. They're too old not to having any, right?

Really? I bought my 1944 DOU from them that had the handguard blow off when I fired. Also bought a South African Lee Enfield from them too. The Enfield fires great, only issues I've found is the extractor spring was broke, bought a replacement today though. I'm not purchasing any of them...

    Who is...

... Bob Jensen? Looking at a 1940 DUV and they say Bob Jensen has only seen two like it before in his years of collecting/research. Additionally, should I bid on it or try and get the 1940 243?

They're original as far as I know. Purchased them from IMA. I do have duffel cuts so maybe that's why.

    Cleaning Rod Issue

My two cleaning rods came in today and I put them in the guns. Only problem is they don't screw in to a secure hold. Guessing it's just because of how old the rifle is and the threads are worn out? Thoughts?

    Repair Help

I took my 1944 DOU to the range last night to see if it would fire since the sell on GB does not test fire. Good news is that it fired. The bad news is that the upper handguard was loose and apparently so was the rear barrel band. Fired one shot and the band was moved out of position and the...

    Mitchell Mauser

Thanks for the info everyone. I knew it looked too nice to be totally original. Was fortunate enough to have the seller get my bid removed from GB.

    Mitchell Mauser

I downloaded a PDF for my kar98ks for informational and care purposes from Mitchell Mausers. Found them online and they look really pristine. Does anyone have any extra info on them if they are legit or not. They seem to nice for how old they are.
