PTR44 Semi-Auto MP44

:happy0180:

Question, are these based off an original? I’ve never seen an original with the Mp44 or stamps on it - just curious.
Hi. That I dont know, there are many different short mags. I have seen 10 rounds and some shorter ones, the original ones are difficult to find. A few are factory short ones and some are shorten d in field.

Caution. I imported a BD44 10 rounder long time ago and as it turned out, I could get it to hold 11 rounds. In shitholes like Kommiefornia this is a serious legal problem. I solved it by replacing the BD44 follower with one from the Recon 30 rounder that originally came with the rifle. The Recon follower was a little over 1/3" longer, which prevented an 11th round from snapping into the mag.

These are completely new magazines, I can only get 10 in these.

Very good, my research shows no 10 rd mags with Mp44 or Fxo or any markings of any kind. It should be known in the collection world that 10 rd with markings is post war (new) mfg.

Yes one of our goals is that our products can't be faked into something else, and sold as originals. I once got burned on a fake MP44 magazine with original markings and wa codes.

Excuse me if this has been asked before, but will the reproduction K43 ever be considered for import?

Hi. The problem with the K43 is that they are expensive to produce, so they probably be to close to the originals in pricing. Right now I think they will be to expensive to be sold in USA, also it looks like there are some originals for sell to.

I would expect a quality shooter to be pricey. For example: I like the Steyr AUG. For a long time the 80's imports were all that was available and they were out of my reach in price. Now, they are made here in the US and while still pricey, they're affordable enough that I bought the 40th Aniversary edition for $2200 that was put out last year.
Original G/K43's however, the prices tend to be all over the place. I would not want to pay what some ask for to get a nice matching example only to park it in the safe out of fear of breaking original matching parts. I do have a shooter grade AC45 K43. But I would be interested in one of these should they ever come into the US market.

So I am heading back to Europe, to await the answer from ATF on the guns. The web shop is closed, If the guns get approved we will reopen the web shop when I return. Hope it works out. Dingo
