New Gustloff MG Barrel 98

After asking around for a few months if anyone would be willing to part with one I was finally able to pick up a Gustloff MG barrel '98. This rifle contains all of the typical features of a MG Gustloff with extremely rough finishing near the wrist of the stock. Rifle is all matching; however, there is a crack in the wrist of the stock which I do not mind as it is in beautiful condition. condition.

Not the easiest variation to find, trust me. I lookeS for years for one, months of looking is light speed!
I was surprised (and extremely happy) how fast I was able to obtain one. I am expecting my search for an unfinished Gustloff will take years (if not decades), that is if I find one!

Very cool rifle. I'm not a late-war obsessed guy, but of all the unusual rifles to come at the end of the war, these are my favorite.

In all my years I have never actually seen one of these. It is one of the most interesting variants. Congratulations on getting it, especially in such great condition.

Great Find!! I would love to add an MG barrel BCD to the hoard someday. Weds night at the show was crazy, It was like a shark feeding frenzy as the doors opened.

I think the hour delay added a bit to the feeding frenzy, everyone was just waiting to spend some money.

Congratulations on a great find! The machinegun barreled BCD 4's are really cool. My machinegun barreled bcd 4 is one of my favorites in my collection.

Yes I remember seeing this rifle on Richard's table even held it in my hands during setup. But he pulled out something that I was far more interested in. Sometimes you can't own them both! Glad to see someone here get it though and not a dealer. Thanks for sharing.

Rich always has some of the best stuff at the shows!

Oh you know it Mike you have no clue what he will pull out from his gun socks and place in the racks! It's like a mystery box! We do have alot of good laughs though I call Richard my grandpa all the time! He keeps telling me I have enough kids!
