Mauser ID help

I am trying to determine the origin of the rifle pictured. It has no markings on the receiver apart from a serial number on the L/H side, and 7.62 stamped into the right side. It has obviously been refurbished at some point, and I was hoping someone can shed some light as to what it is / might be put together from? Sorry about the photo quality, but they are all I have at the minute.
Thanks, Chris

That's a Mauser from Spain, made in La Coruna. Later rebarreled to .308 Win / 7.62 NATO.
The original Mauser M43 for the Spanish Army was made until 1958.
