Very Weird Nazi bare rifle action, with Photo's

I just picked up a bare K98 action, with the largest eagle and swastika, then has the word BERLIN. I have ever seen on one. Also has the serial number on one side with an import mark. also has 3006 on the same side.
No proofs anywhere on the action, top, sides or front. Any help would be appreciated.

Idk what that is but that was never a thing from the Germans. Based on the import mark probably a scrubbed, restamped and refinished South American Mauser action.

Sir I've spoken with an expert in Third Reich Mausers at the homeless camp by the river. After paying his assessment fee of 3 crack rocks he has informed me the spirits told him this was Hitlers personal mauser action he was going to turn into a hunting rifle but committed suicide before it was completed. He thinks it is worth $50,000.

So you saying that BUBBA took the time to make all the die's to stamp this receiver. I don't think so. And why would this be South American. There are no stamps to indicate anything other than BERLIN.

Why on earth would you come to the world’s foremost website on Mauser action rifles with a question, and then argue about it when your question is answered? You acknowledge the expertise available here by way of your post, but you then contradict yourself by arguing because it wasn’t the response you were looking for.

I'm sure you're hoping it's an authentic Nazi era receiver... It's not. It's post-war fantasy junk. People did this crap all the time to all sorts of things to make them more appealing to people who want to collect Nazi sh!t.

Not a electric stencil. It looks like it was stamped into the metal. And why the words BERLIN??

Stuff like this is done because the person who did it knows that someone like you will find it. That someone will think they have found some lost ultra rare treasure worth 3 kidneys. That person will find the most knowledgeable K98k experts anywhere to vet the piece and get confirmation of it`s ultra rareness. Then be able to retire on some tropical island from the proceeds of it`s sale. That same person will then get all butt hurt and defensive when told by the very experts they sought out, that the ultra-rare treasure is a pile of crap not worth the metal used to make it.
It happens all the time and will continue to happen as long as there are people like you. No offence meant and welcome to the world of K98k shenanigans.

Look at the picture reference section of rifles here on the K98K forum section. Do you see any German manufactured rifles with gas escape holes in the receiver? I'm stumped as to the maker or model of the receiver but some South America and some European countries got ALOT of M2 ball 30-06 post WW2 so it could be some kind of Mauser conversion action for any number of countries who adopted Mauser rifles that had a action long enough to feed 30-06. Sorry ya got hosed, you should be able to turn it into any number of nice hunting or target rifle with time, money and effort. Nothing of value will be lost cause it was lost long ago when someone most likely sanded or wire wheel n restamped that action. Based on the gas escape holes and my limited knowledge on Mauser rifles it's probably a small ring type of action instead of large ring cause I'm unaware of any large ring Mauser actions with gas escape holes in the receiver.
