Need help identifying Bayonet

I just bought a bayonet. The seller (antique store) told me it was a German WW2 bayonet, but I don't fully believe him, as he 1) did not seem to know much about bayonets (said so himself and also wrongly classified a cold war swiss bayonet as German Bundeswehr), and 2) the bayonet is in incredibly pristine condition. It feels like it has never been resharpened (or really sharpened at all), and the grip scales are a bit rough produced.
It does look like it sat for a long while in storage because of the dust and dirt in the inlets, i dont think that it is a newly produced fake (or at least i hope it isnt lol)
There is an 8 on the top of the right grip panel, the bayonet's serial number is 16233 while the sheath is 16232. The sheath has a lot more wear than the bayonet.

Either way, it was less than 100€, so I thought I'd take the gamble

I bought it in a former Yugoslavian country, so maybe it is an M1948 yugo bayonet? I think(?) there is cosmoline around the crossguard. I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at lol.

If you need any more pictures please tell me! Thanks for any help in advance :)

You are correct this is a yugoslavian M1948 bayonet with corect frog, the prices are around 50/60, the piece is here mostly for export as not Preduzece 44 on ricasso. Its a depot piece which could be switched with number when added into depot teoretically or by selling later. It could be too the piece was refurbished in time, normally the period condition with light blueing and better condition grips are harder to find.

Thanks! Would this bayonet fit on a "normal" German K98? In addition, is the steel good? I may use it for light work when hunting

It could be fitted but is probably not proper. The yugoslavians used M24/47 and M24/48 rifles on captured rew. M98/48 rifles, but normally a M1948 on corect modell. For hunting it could be real.
