I have not watched the video yet. Does Gun Jesus say which institution (if any) owns this prototype ?

Yes Koblenz. IIRC the fixed stock rifle is in the FG42 book. I dont ever remember seeing or hearing about the folder

The firing system is indeed bizarre.
It is interesting that the extended triggerguard design was applied on the 2 Krieghoff prototypes.
Perhaps the only thing that survived or I’d rather say that resurrected from the Krieghoff design.
The short triggerguard seems to have been designed by Rheinmetall.
