Thank you for the information. I'm really riding the fence on whether to get this one. If the BCD barrel is on the unusual side i will likely take the plunge..
Thank you again for the replies. I did that and it looks to be correct except for the bolt. The rifle I am looking at is all matching ,except for the bolt that matches itself. Looks to be unmessed with . Finish is original with honest wear and no sanding . Missing its cleaning rod but the sight...
I am looking at a bolt MM BCD 43 and have a question prior to committing . The large parts are all serialized matching with the same font but the bolt heads are not numbered . Is this correct ? Thanks in advance ..

Pics to come later as I am driving but I got it. I was wrong about a few things . It is a Byf 43 with a hard shell holster dated 43 . Red Bakelite grips and all matching . I would put exterior condition as good as well as the bore . I Will post pics later .
Thank you for all of the replies. I am going to look at it again in just a bit and will hopefully bring it home. It is going to be a trade for a rifle of mine that I have $550 in so I dont feel I can go wrong.
Good day. I am looking at doing a trade for a BYF 44 P38 with an original holster. It is numbers matching (except the mag) and is in good original condition with no import marks. It has the black grips. The holster is in good used condition as well , is black and has P38 on the rear with a date...
It is my understanding that very few have been seen marked this way and that no original piece has been found. All that have surfaced have been RC or early Romanian(?) imports.. One thing is for sure, it has proven top be quite a conversation piece..
