Well said And I would add that Dave “matching” the higher offer id bet money there was no “offer” to match but a fictitious arbitrary number he drove Dave to match and then received interest beyond Dave’s deal and used that number to play them. No integrity. A hand shake is all we have as men

I have to say thank you to all you gentlemen. I am glad I found this forum many many years ago after buying my first K98k. And meeting Mauser99 buying my next set of German long guns. Of course my relationship with Mauser99 has cost me big but you guys are a tremendous asset

PM Dave Roberts or Wayne, mauser99 for the details. Seems the one piece at the rear was “off” by about .03 mm or so

Wayne and Dave would have to answer that exactly but the scope didn’t fit initially and Dave had to machine the middle piece on the scope mount down a little as I was told
