    Looking at a G33/40 Rod. It is 11" (very close at least) and has the beveled end. Shouldn't the threaded end finish at a fine point? Does this look legit?

    Brain fart....:googlie...... there appears to be a "17" stamped in the sling slot. I'll get pics.

    Probably both worn and sanded? I can't tell but I do love the walnut. I can't see ANY remnants of markings. There is a "15" mark in the sling slot.

    Didn't see any other external markings. I'll scan it again and see. My pictures aren't that good.... doesn't do the rifle justice. I need to learn how to take decent pics. Proper lighting, background, etc. Thanks for everyone's input. I'm pretty excited about this find!
