    The rifles G33/40 were all delivered to end of summer 1942 to Wehrmacht depots, so no real guns in area of Czechoslovakia when 1945 partly "liberated" by Soviets.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pi%C5%82a The Landjägerei is a Landes Gendarmerie in that case. Certainly not typical marking. But the marking looks here more as late 30ies and not as proper Police unit. no dots there between the letters ,no district number etc.

    There could be two possibilities, use a normal german S84/98 frog or use a older austrian M88/95 or Czechoslovak Vz.24 frog.

    dot 42 is not a K98 bayonet, its a S24(t) bayonet.

    Personally it doesnt look like a Landjaegerei bayonet, firstly the marking is not in correct manner for police stamped, secondly here is NS period refurbishment typical for hidden equipment as this piece probably doesnt have any 1920 stamp?? was not presented here, on a police item it should be...

    Immaculate Lithuanian contract FN m24L

    Very nice rifle in excellent condition, much harder would be found a proper bayonet for it. The rifle is a copy of CS Vz.24 rifle delivered to Lithuania few years earlier.

    When there are not any CS marking on backside of the frog, so it should be probably austrian origin. personally i would inspect this for possible reblue or its on the coat of vaseline on surface, but the surface on same places looks like pitted someday?. Anyway a early matching Durkopp is nice.

    Its a postwar K98k made in Zbrojovka Brno CSR, E3 speaks for pre 1948 production, mostly not completely CS proofed for army but went to Export.

Is anything marked on upper handguard? By the series are problems Smid mentioned...
