Steyr M.12 Zollwache - replaced slide

Offcoarse thats the point, i believe for what i have confirmation and source of information. When rifles M95 and Mps34 were marked prewar so it were marked even pistols M12 (police had even armored vehicles, heavy MGs and other army weapons since 1920), i little known what was done under soviet...

Steyr M.12 Zollwache - replaced slide

I personally dont have similar opinion, Mpi 34 and M1895 Stutzen and bayonets were marked but Steyr M12 pistols not in interwar period with LGK stamps, that would be strange certainly. They would waiting anywhere in depots in Austria in year 1945 for adding of new police serialing post 1945...

Already asked in upper discussion: "How do You explain a 9700 pcs of M12 Steyr pistole by Executive then in march 1938? When no one here accept using of M12 by Police/Gendarmery interwar?" Still not got any answer who used the 9700 Steyr pistols in 1938 that was in inventory of police and...

Steyr M.12 Zollwache - replaced slide

It would be nice to see any reference that SMG MPi34 in Steyr cartridge was used post 1945 by LKNo?. As these pieces are reported with original M95 bayonets -same as there are reported pieces brought back by US Gis with various LGK marking that could be not existed in period of post 1945 and...

Steyr M.12 Zollwache - replaced slide

Firstly the pistol was made in Steyr in 1919 also postwar also could be not a austrian army contract, the piece was prepared for other countries contract as not any proofs visible on trigger, it should be part of Czechoslovakia pistol contract but is out of range as they buyed only 5000 of this...

    My new TGF 1950

Question remains what for tgf rifle is here, most real a total mixmaster with only a receiver marked tgf 1950, barell and other parts were forcematched, maybe by israelis? bayonet is a Vz24 bayonet for Vz.98N rifle, anyway mostly produced for CS army in 1948/50 and delivered to depots of east...

Steyr M.12 Zollwache - replaced slide

This pistol of Prague museum was as mentioned marked to Gendarmerie in interwar period not postwar, as Gendarmery used not 9mm Para but 9mm Steyr even are marked Mpi34 SMG similar way. On right trigger its NPv marked for commerzial nitro proof in Wienna of 1932, as it should be by a police...

    dou 44 matching

Here is not any Brunn, its a Povazska Bystrica Slovakia production piece as second plant of Waffenwerke Brunn concern, Brunn could be not declared by dou marked samples as the town where it was produced. Brunn doesnt mean automatically ZB, it was and is the largest town of Moravia.

Allegedly an m71 Bayonet that has been.....modified?

This is a lightened version of Art.Faschinenmesser with blade used even on dress bayonets of SG1871, only it was different way etched and marked, thats all.

Allegedly an m71 Bayonet that has been.....modified?

Yes this is in reality dress Artillery Sword, or Faschinenmesser even with unit stamp, which was normally not used on extra/dress items, posible he had good contact with armorer, similar pieces were probably used by NCOs. 2.Battery weapon nr.158...

    45. R.K. unit disc Gew 98

RK should be there, but i couldnt confirm what is the unit, as the stamp is mostly for wartime unit. So question remains is its 45Inf.Regiment or the 45 is the weapon nr, normally there should be used different size stamps for each area. In front of R should be number of the Regiment.

    German Captured 1915 Mosin Nagant

Some correction should be made probably, russian NCOs used Mosin in scabbards, anyway they are really scarce to find on western market, majority of soldiers have it directly on rifles other way attached on barell in transportation position. Personally never saw a german made ersatz scabbard for...

    German Captured 1915 Mosin Nagant

The bayonet is made by Sestroreck, marking with Deutschland is little strange as no place there for so long stamp on blade socket. Obviously were these stamped only with prussian eagle normally.

    Barn Find Gewehr 88

Should be looked at sights for distances, but there is a cover on magazine bottom, which would be more accurate by rifles converted to Mauser clips.

    VZ24 C block matching

40000 were delivered to Japan in 1939, but it was not realised in one bunch of serial, from this is very tricky as there is bunch of C and even P range was delivered. Most real majority of them are 1937 stamped on receiver top.

    44asw, 44crs, 44fnj bayonets

nice bunch, mostly never used bayonets of late 1944 production, in excellent condition, personally i like the riveted 44asw with frog marked RBNr on front part. interestingly there was some damage done by stamping the first 5 digit as no visible on bayonet. 44crs when j range so mostly the...
