I find it funny part for section 4 part 3 says No Nameplates from equipment. I've got probably over 100 metal Nameplates taken from German and Japanese guns brought back in lots. Lawyers definitely did their part in the war helping write the rules in the end. Doubt they had a choice

The 'decal' is representitive. Hand painted by vet along with the other art. I stand by my original opinion the entire package is an art fake

The whole thing seems contrived. The 'provenance' tag misdirects on purpose. I also don't find a Chas. or Charles Kopel. Perhaps C is a middle initial is possible? Even if the name pops up I still wouldn't buy this as a legit 'bring back' item.

You can 100% sell it on this site. Lots of CR licenses or ffl's who will do transfers. Consider getting some better detail pics of the entire receiver area. Again, as for now, don't clean or disassemble

As above no cleaning. Leave as is. Also as above pictures please. I'd note that not having a magazine doesn't necessarily mean that it has a detachable mag. A G41 missing parts is not unusual.

34's are a great gun to have extra parts (actually I guess all belt fed guns). Once you get the right combo of parts in the receiver they run great. Ours took some trial and error too. I'm not sure what the 3R life of a 34 was, but it had to have been better than an mg42 being all machined. The...

Not sure I've ever posted this on K98, but since Red 9's have been brought up recently, why not. This is the one example of Imperial Mauser I own. I know nothing about these, but it doesn't appear to be post war molested/modified. No markings that would indicate rebuild to me. Thanks for looking
