No it wasn't "Storage Wars".... old closed up antique shop had these buried among the farm/workshop tools. I the fingerprints in the dust were mine. Not a helmet collector but have had several over the years. This one will be a keeper

The surname Ridder has a lengthy German linage. I doubt there would be any way to trace the name from WW2 German army records.
