Kriegsmarine Marked rg34 - (Formerly Sad Remnants of Navy Marked rg34)

IIRR the "double circle" has a different meaning. More like an accepted sample. But I need to cross check that.

The attached image is from the Marineverordnungsblatt of 1939. Sorry for the poor scan and hard to make out the details but this is the best image I could find. As Wolfgang stated it is apparently an acceptance stamp for parts and materials. Should not be confused with the Eagle > M stamp which is a property marking.

that is exactly the image/document I was looking for.

Please add, that the two Hawig kits (bold) are unit stamped with "2.M.A.A." (2. Marine Artillerie Abteilung ?)
The M.S.W. marking most likely is for Marineschule Wesermünde. A school for the technical training of machine personnel of crews, NCOs and sergeants,

Corrections made, thanks Wolfgang. Also two kits of 1937 added.

I have observed kits accepted by the Kriegsmarine only from the firm Kyffhäuserhütte and Hawig. Interestingly, the kits accepted by the Luftwaffe were from G.Appel. Antoni

I know this is an old thread, but I just caught an area of interest ...... Antoni, can you elaborate on the Luftwaffe accepted Appel kits? Not sure that I have ever encountered one ......

BTW:
I just bought another Swastika over M in circles. Again postwar police green overpainted  , but it likely is a HAWIG from 1940 or later, since it has the single reinforcing groove.
I'll post some photos when it has arrived.

I can try it although as you well know there are many holes in the great puzzle about the development and history of the Rg34...

Very interesting Wolf, look forward to seeing this. Mine is like yours, without any retention ridges.

I recently talked with mrfarb about Kriegsmarine marked RGs.
They seem to show up very scarcely.
Attached some old shots showing my other Navy marked RGs.
Any others out there?

Thanks
Wolfgang
Yes, I have three of them.

I have a maker marked and 1944 dated bayonet frog which is also Eagle over M stamped. There are pics of it in the reference section.

And have seen the "double circle" marking on a 1941 dated bayonet frog so there must have been some overlap in the use of both styles.
I have almost thirty Kriegsmarine marked K98K bayonet frogs.

sadly this RG34 has seen some rework after the war.
Overpainted. New contents. Divider newly spot welded.
BUT this is the first one I've come across with the rare swastika over M in circles stamp.
Otherwise unmarked.
I have three.

Yes, I have three of them.
The truth is that I have a hard time understanding the presence of the Kriegsmarine stamp on a 1936 kit that has already been accepted (Weimar eagle WaA325). Also the excessive zeal in marking all the parts, as well as where it has been stamped: on the back of the HKW and on the first link of the chain, which is not common.

Antoni
