1878 Erfurt Mauser I.G. Mod 71 s/n 3499P

I have the above firearm and I have no idea of the value. All numbers match. Attached are pics. There is a screw missing on the trigger guard.

Erfurt 71s are pretty hard to find, but this one has sadly been sporterized-- stock cut, bands and bayo lug gone and aftermarket rear sling swivel added. I would say maybe $400 or so as a shooter. It could be a restoration, but the parts may be tricky.

The stock was also sanded enough that acceptance marks aren't there any more.

Yeah, didn't look that close after I saw it was chopped. probably $250-300.
