1890 Danzig Gew 88

Hello everyone. I've been meaning post this for a while now but I've just been busy. I got this Gew 88 from my friend William a about a year ago now. This is my second Gew 88. William did some restoration work on this one. He put all the metal parts in electrical bath. Overall I think he did a pretty good job. The rifle is missing the bolt head and extractor. I'll get the missing bolt head and extractor someday. Rifle is also not matching but is okay. I still love it. I think it's a pretty good example for my collection. I'm starting to develop an odd soft spot for these rifles. Hope you guys enjoy.

1890/Danzig/4512g/169.R.4.137. On upper barrel band. Could be 43.R.4.?? On lower barrel band.
