1890 Spandau G.G.R.R Unit Marked

Finally came across one worthy of posting! Major components matching Gew 88 with a super cool unit mark for a Prussian Guard Grenadier Reserve Regiment (2.G.G.R(italics).R 9 119) if I’m interpreting correctly. It also has some interesting marking on the butt plate that’s I’m having some trouble deciphering, depo build perhaps? The bayonet is just a random Gew 88 bayonet, but all rifles look better with one on. It also needs a bolt head but thankfully I have a spare from another rifle for now and can get a reproduction if needed.

Any additional info is appreciated!

The letter behind the digits is w. The Garde Grenadier Reserve Regiment nr.2 could be short time designation used on this rifle as in genwiki is listed only Garde Grenadier Regt. Nr.2 Kaiser Franz and Garde Reserve Rgt nr.2 wout the second G in name.
 
Great 88! If you feel so inclined take a pair of pliers and carefully remove that sling loop from the rear quick detach slot. It's not anything the Germans would have added; generally when I get rifles that have that I promptly remove it. You won't be able to get a original German sling to work without doing so unless you use the parade mounts.
 
Sling loop and the clean up makes it look to be a SA import rifle . A few I have seen seemed to have not been touched and were matching # . Those also seemed to have original barrels on them , not Czech barrels . What barrel does yours have ? Rear sight photo .
 
Appreciate the replies! I will follow up on the barrel/barrel jacket and internal serials once I get it disassembled for thorough cleaning and inspection this weekend as the trigger feels like someone jammed mud under it. Sounds like I will need to fire up the dremel too to get that rear sling loop off. Posting additional pictures of the receiver and rear sight as requested, let me know if you want to see anything else. I won’t even attempt a bore pic but it’s got strong rifling and the metal looks bright but not shiny.

Could you explain that to me? There’s an S right on the receiver which means it’s sighted for spitzer right? I don’t see import marks anywhere either but maybe that’s not required for an antique, I would agree with import though because of the incorrect sling attachment loop and the clipped (albeit matching) firing pin.
 
No the S does not mean that . The rifle has the original sight for the P-88 ammo . That is why I asked for a sight photo . Antique does not need import marks . A Gew-88 S has a redone rear sight and is marked with a S crown on the side of the buttstock . Search posts here as it has been covered .
